Ohio Women, Inc. is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, educational and research organization committed to informing and educating the public about the needs of women in Ohio and to facilitating communication among groups in the state in their efforts to improve the status of women and families in Ohio through:

Providing opportunities for organizations and individuals who are supportive of women's rights to share information about the status of women in Ohio and about their efforts to advance the status;

Researching the legal barriers which prevent women from participating fully in society;

Designing and maintaining a web site for nonprofit organizations concerned with the quality of women's lives in Ohio;

Sponsoring educational programs on issues such as employment, equal rights, child care, Ohio budget process, health and domestic violence;

Providing small grants/loans to individuals and organizations for projects and programs designed to improve, research, or inform about the status of women and families in Ohio through the Janet Orttung-Morrow Fund;

Celebrating women's history, such as by co-sponsoring women's equality day celebrations to celebrate the securing of voting rights for women.

Ohio Women, Inc. is a volunteer organization funded through grants and contributions from organizations and individuals.
