Abuse and Rape Crisis Shelter of Warren County (ARCS)
Statement of Purpose: ARCS provides crisis intervention services to survivors of family abuse or sexual assault and their children. We are dedicated to the safety, healing, and empowerment of these victims to whom we offer emergency housing, food, clothing, and information about community resources. ARCS staff and volunteers provide legal advocacy to all shelter clients and abuse victims who contact ARCS for assistance. They accompany victims to court, assist them in filing for civil or criminal protection orders, and provide them with information regarding legal proceedings and options. The Shelter operates a 24-hour crisis hotline and provides a variety of nine (9) weekly groups to victims of abuse and their families. Part of our services include a court-ordered, six month to one year batterer’s group for men who abuse women, and a twelve week, court-ordered group for women who resort to violence. In addition, we provide educational presentations in the community’s schools, churches, businesses, and prison. Address: 107 Oregonia Road, Suite A, Lebanon, Ohio 45036
