WEAL is a non-partisan, not-for-profit research and action organiztion founded in 1968 that works to improve the social, economic, and legal status of all women. WEAL has been a leader in working for equal educational and extracurricular opportunities for women in schools, equal job opportunities and training for women in the workforce, child support laws and their enforcement, and the passage of the still un-ratified Equal Rights Amendment.
